FAQs
-
There is a free parking lot, as well as ample free street parking in the surrounding neighborhoods.
-
My office is within several blocks of stops for the A, B, C, and D busses. For schedules and directions via bus, visit Metro Transit.
-
I currently do not require masks to be worn in my office or in the waiting area. The waiting area is only for my clients, so there will never be more than one person waiting there at a time. I will continue to monitor the situation and follow guidelines from Dane County Public Health, so this may change at any time in the future. That said, I honor each person’s individual preference and am happy to mask for an appointment at any time. If you are immune-compromised or for any other reason need a higher level of COVID precautions, such as me wearing a mask all day prior to our appointment, please let me know ahead of time.
All surfaces are sanitized daily, and shared tools that people may touch (i.e. fidgets or hand buzzers for EMDR) are sanitized between each individual use.
-
Unfortunately, my office is not ADA accessible. There is one flight of stairs up to the office, and no elevator. I am committed to providing access to in-person therapy services when possible, so if this is a barrier for you, please reach out to me and we can discuss alternate options for meeting in person.
-
There are two single-stall, all gender restrooms on the same floor as the office. There are no gendered restrooms.
-
The office is low-scent, but not completely fragrance-free. I do not use scented cleaning products or scented personal care products in the space itself, but I do not require guests in the space to adhere to a no-fragrance policy. Scented cleaning supplies and soap may be used in the office restrooms. If chemical sensitivities are an issue for you, please let me know ahead of time and we will communicate about how best to accommodate you.
-
All seats for guest use are either couches or seats with no arm rests that can accommodate a wide range of body sizes. If you have other concerns or questions about fat accessibility in the space, please contact me for more information.

Maybe! While I can’t accommodate everybody, I care very deeply about accessibility and am committed to meeting your physical and emotional accessibility needs if I am able. Please do not hesitate to reach out with additional questions about your specific situation - there is no request that is “too small” or “too much” for me to care about. If it turns out I am unable to accommodate you, I will share all pertinent information relating to your access needs so that you can be fully informed when making a decision.
